Over 20 years ago, a year in Paris opened my eyes to a new way of thinking, living, loving, and… being.

I traveled to France with so many pre-conceived ideas, some positive and some negative. After just a few months I realized most were wrong. Aspects of the culture I thought I would love I didn’t. Alternatively, there were so many wonderful surprises - things I’d never thought about - that I embraced and relished.

That one year shaped many of my thoughts and attitudes I still hold today. Most importantly it showed me the real gifts of traveling and learning additional languages: discovering new ways of doing and thinking, seeing a different approach to a familiar issue, interacting with people and understanding how similar we are at our cores.

I love that my job as a Travel Advisor is to empower my clients to travel, experience other cultures, and meet people all over the world. In my opinion there is no better education than travel.
